Using NetworkIsland

Open the app to view locally estimated upload and download transfer rates and the current Wi-Fi, cellular, offline, or stale-data state.

Tap Start to request a Live Activity. Live Activity availability and update frequency are controlled by iOS.

If rates remain at zero, keep the app open and start a network transfer.
If the connection shows offline, check Airplane Mode, Wi-Fi, cellular settings, and network availability.
If data is stale, reopen the app to resume foreground sampling.
If the Dynamic Island display is unavailable, confirm that the iPhone supports Dynamic Island and Live Activities are enabled.
